The Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation is proud to share the publication of the book chapter \u00abAnalysis of the characteristics of language in two adults with Alzheimer’s disease, one in an initial state and the other in an intermediate state\u00bb, in the book Reflections on aesthetics, mental health and Physics: Investigative Insights in Context. ISBN: 978-958-53186-2-5. from the Editorial Escuela Pomponazzi.<\/p>\n

This product is the result of research with the same title approved in the internal call for research. The research accounts for the analysis carried out through a Case Study of three older adults who had Alzheimer’s disease as a diagnosis, highlighting the language processes that are deteriorating as the disease progresses. It is a work that invites reflection on the importance of the participation of the speech therapist and other health professionals with this population, and was carried out by the researchers Mar\u00eda Isabel Loaiza Hern\u00e1ndez and Amilbia Palacios C\u00f3rdoba, FONOTEC group, from the Speech Therapy program.<\/p>\n
