The students of the Specialization in Project Management and Evaluation visited the company Las Lomitas Flowers located in the municipality of La Ceja in the eastern department of Antioquia. It is an organization dedicated to the cultivation, production and commercialization of hydrangeas; for 13 years and exporting to countries such as Japan, South Korea, Russia, the United States and Canada, about 3,000 boxes per week, that is, more than 130,000 stems.<\/p>\n

The students of the Project Execution module had the opportunity to interview the manager and founder of the company, where he shared the experiences of how he has managed to enter these international markets, how he manages the projects and how he executes them. It is an experience that strengthens students in their training process as specialists and helps them make the best business decisions, from an experiential perspective.<\/p>\n

The Specialization in Project Management and Evaluation of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation has three differentiating attributes, which respond to the trends, needs and dynamics of the business sector in Colombia, Antioquia and specifically at the local level, the attributes that differentiate the program are: organization of the curriculum through training axes, strengthening the holistic knowledge of the organizations, on the other hand a curricular design that strengthens the \u00abEvaluation\u00bb component as a complement and provides information to those who must make investment decisions, understanding the program with a clear financial approach aimed at satisfying the needs of companies and a track record in innovation projects that facilitate interaction with target audiences that have been part of the different projects and research carried out by the Sumar group, the Competitive Innovation and Referencing Unit and the Entrepreneurship Center, which through Through innovation projects, it formulates and raises the needs of our students, supporting them in their life projects from business innovation and the generation of new productive ideas.<\/p>\n
