Víctor Hugo Monsalve Manco and Elkin Antonio Restrepo Escobar, directors of the Business Administration and Public Accounting programs, assigned to the Faculty of Business Sciences, visited the Secretaries of Education of the municipalities of Apartadó and Turbo and met with Banacol’s officials, one of the most important banana unions in the country. This meeting marked the beginning of three agreements which could allow over 4200 eleventh graders students and over 16,000 employees of the banana production field to choose their professional training at María Cano as a virtual and face-to-face qualification alternative.

Such approach also allowed identifying potentialities for María Cano academics as well as the opportunity of initiating efforts pointed towards Institution’s growth positively impacting this important department and the country’s region, due to its wide industrial, tourist and port vocation.
