Research is one of the pillars for Superior Education; and it is considered to be one of its main activities, inherent to the academic process itself, that allows for new knowledge acquisition and its application to problem solving skills of the community through all the work areas that the institution has.
According to The Real Academy of Spanish Language, the word investigate (term that has its origin from the word investigare) refers to a type of strategy generated and used to discover something in particular. It also allows to mention a group of activities of the intellectual and experiential fields of systematic study with the intention of increasing knowledge about a specific phenomenon of nature.
At Maria Cano’s University Foundation, Research study is managed by the Research and Business Center (Centro de Investigación y empresarial) CIDE.
