We prepare for the Physiotherapy Accreditation in Neiva

The María Cano University Foundation is committed to quality and continuous improvement, in the search to achieve the recognition of the National Accreditation Council for the Physiotherapy program, the capital of Huila receives the collaborative pair, Karim Martina Alvis, who will analyze the self-evaluation process carried out for accreditation purposes, as one of the main institutional goals, embodied in the Development Plan 2017 – 2026 «Building the Future» that has the strategic lines: Academic Quality, Relationship with the Environment and Administrative Management.
The pair, who will accompany the national and headquarters directives, on September 9 and 10, is a Physiotherapist, Associate Professor at the National University of Colombia in the city of Bogotá and has extensive experience in academic, administrative and management of academic programs and Higher Education Institutions in Colombia.
During the different meetings that will be held with the Institution’s work team, where the work of the staff in the city of Neiva stands out, led by the headquarters coordinator, Diana María Salazar Rojas, teachers, students, graduates and the leaders of the different academic and administrative areas that support the actions of the program; Institutional results will be analyzed in the self-evaluation process, improvement plans, maintenance plans, commitment to social projection, practices at the service of the community in all aspects that Physiotherapy encompasses, whose essential object of study is the understanding and management of human body movement through the different stages of life.
