Students, managers and collaborators of the María Cano University Foundation took over the Mio El Refugio station, in the city of Cali, located on Calle 5a with Carrera 66 with the specific purpose of promoting physical activity in the population of users of the system of mass transportation and contribute, directly, to the economic reactivation and use of this important means of mobility for the entire community; always bearing in mind the need for organized work with city authorities, so that benefits are generated for the entire community. In this work, the Institution is aligned with the Secretariat of Economic Development and the Secretariat of Sports and Recreation.

It is important to note that citizens were encouraged to practice sports through different activities, where the knowledge acquired was shared by professionals in training, so that people can have excellent mobility and take care of their health. In the same way, those who met the sports and health challenges were given tickets that allow the transit of Caleños through the different areas of the city.

The María Cano University Foundation is proud to be present in the capital of Valle del Cauca and to be part of the different initiatives that are generated for the benefit of society, especially in an area that was affected by different social situations experienced in the country, in recent months.
