The Business Administration program, exalts the researcher Natalia Isabel Jaramillo Gómez, who has just taken second place in the contest, exhibits your thesis at 3M, where the researcher put all her knowledge into materials and stem cells for the regeneration of bone tissues with printing 3D worked on his doctoral thesis. This institution, for the fifth consecutive year, carried out the thesis contest in 3 minutes which was originally created by the University of Queensland in Australia with the aim of promoting communication skills in the academic field of doctoral students and recent graduates of a program doctorate, in this case from all UNAL country headquarters. The contest sought that the participants could present their doctoral work in a language according to a non-specialized audience and could be evidenced in the entire academic community in just 3 minutes.
From the work carried out by the Researcher Natalia Jaramillo, several results have come out for Sumar and, at this moment, with her leadership and the participation of other researchers, we are working with a circular economy around the theme of the thesis. The jurors of this event were: Dr. Ignacio Mantilla Prada, former rector of the National University of Colombia, the Ph.D. in Applied Computing, ENSTA, France; José Tiberio Hernández Peñalosa and the PhD Luz Amparo Fajardo Uribe in philosophical pragmatics from the University of Granada. In the words of the jurors: “She presented in a very interesting way an effort from materials engineering, for the design of new materials thanks to the combination of these new materials and the geometries that can be printed by means of 3D printing that can make a contribution of great potential for bone implants ”.
Congratulations to Researcher Natalia for this great achievement #MásMaríaCano
