The María Cano University Foundation was present at the event Experiences of remote teaching and alternation during the SARs Cov2 pandemic carried out by the Colombian Association of Engineering Faculties – ACOFI – on November 19. This event was part of a call in which 27 initiatives from different HEIs from 13 cities in Colombia were selected. The Institution participated with the presentation «Use and appropriation of ICT – Experience during the pandemic». In it, the preparation that the institution had in the use and appropriation of ICTs for the time of the pandemic and the aspects that have been strengthened in an accelerated manner during 2020-2021 were highlighted.
This experience is achieved thanks to the institutional commitment to the consolidation of the Model of pedagogical mediation with the use of ICT, the adaptability of the educational community, the good attitude of all to contribute to the process and, without a doubt, the tireless support of Mariacanovirtual as fundamental pillar for pedagogical, technological, communicational and management support to support the continuity of academic and administrative activities mediated by ICT during the pandemic.
These achievements are not from Mariacanovirtual, they belong to everyone; They were not during the pandemic either, they are permanent and the use and appropriation of ICT will continue to be strengthened by all actors in the academic community.
On its website, the Colombian Association of Engineering Faculties – ACOFI – highlights that it is «an academic conference on remote teaching experiences and alternation during the SARs Cov2 pandemic, to which managers, professors, engineering students and interested persons. This activity will present initiatives from 27 higher education institutions from 13 cities, being a diverse space for reflection and analysis on the strategies that were developed from different engineering programs and regions. »
