Our María Cano strengthens international relations with Peru

Dr. Gladys Morán Paredes, rector of the María Auxiliadora University in Peru, visited the facilities of the María Cano University Foundation, in the city of Medellín, in order to consolidate the international cooperation relations between both institutions, through the signature of a framework cooperation agreement that generates the bases for the execution of projects for the benefit of our academic communities in the line of international academic missions, double degrees and research. The international delegate was received by the rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, who presented the institutional growth, its actions through the faculties of health sciences, business sciences and engineering, in the Medellín, Cali, Neiva, Popayán and the Mariacanovirtual campus.
In this way, the María Cano University Foundation seeks to continue the process of strengthening new international educational opportunities for all members of the university community, in undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education.
On its website, the María Auxiliadora University of Peru, highlights that it is “a Private University LICENSED by SUNEDU (National Superintendency of Higher University Education) through Resolution 143-2018-SUNEDU / CD. Its promoting entity: Universidad María Auxiliadora S.A.C. It is made up of a group of professionals with extensive educational and business experience, who had the vision of creating a university that meets the expectations of young entrepreneurs in our country. The María Auxiliadora University (UMA), began its academic work in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho, becoming the first university created in East Lima (the UMA is not a headquarters or a subsidiary), cradle of micro entrepreneurs to whom it is directed the university, to provide them with the tools and training that allow them to compete successfully in Peru and the world. »
In this way, María Cano advances in one of its main goals established in the Development Plan 2017 – 2026 «Building the Future» at the point of contributing to the internationalization of knowledge, facilitating access for students, teachers, graduates, administrators and researchers, to acquire new learning that allows them to contribute to the solution of conflicts, situations and challenges in the local environment.
