The Popayán campus has two young and innovative researchers

The list of eligible Young Researchers and Innovators Projects was socialized within the framework of the project «Implementation of the Young Researchers and Innovators Project in the department of Cauca» which seeks to promote the scientific vocation in young people of the Department of Cauca with academic excellence, postulates by the entities of the National System of Science, Technology and Innovation (SNCTI) formulating the project (executor and allies) by linking them to research, technological development or Innovation groups that allow them to develop their abilities and capacities as researchers, applying the learning-by-doing methodology.
In this first call, the four projects presented by the graduates of the Physiotherapy program of the María Cano University Foundation in Popayán: María Alejandra Orozco Torres, Nataly Andrea Orozco Bolaños, Santiago Andrés Fernández García and Marinela Eraso Palma, were shortlisted within the bank of eligible .
In the final list of eligible projects, the projects of María Alejandra Orozco Torres and Nataly Andrea Orozco Bolaños have been selected. The tutor who will accompany the projects is Associate Professor and Researcher Elizabeth Roldán González, member of the Research Group of the Physiotherapy program: Importance of movement in human development – FISIOTER.
The María Cano University Foundation congratulates the graduates for their selection as Young Researchers and Innovators of the department of Cauca and predicts success for the development of their projects, which aim to solve problems identified in the strategic focuses and departmental challenges of CTeI .
The young researchers will be financed with resources from the Science, Technology and Innovation Fund of the General System of royalties assigned to the Department of Cauca by the OCAD of CTeI for the development of the Young Researchers and Innovators project.
