Institutional Welfare of María Cano and the administration of the municipality of Bello, held a meeting to accompany and promote permanence with the students belonging to the Galileo Scholarships, this alliance focuses on promoting the educational processes of 25 students from this northern town of the Aburrá Valley. This initiative focuses on promoting inter-institutional work for social transformation and on the commitment that the Institution assumes with the life projects of the students and their respective families.

At the meeting, a process of framing the commitments acquired by María Cano, the municipality of Bello and the students was carried out, focusing on the co-responsibility of the parties in the success of this alliance. From the university sphere, socioeconomic and psychosocial support is established through the Institutional Welfare area and the «I Love You at U» Program; From the administration of the town, effective communication channels are generated in situations of administrative order; and on the part of the students, emphasis was placed on the responsibility with the academic process and its central role in the effectiveness of the accompaniments provided throughout the process.

Institutional Welfare will continue to promote meetings with the university community that enable the construction of joint strategies for the benefit of future professionals.
