Research and internationalization in Business Sciences

Professor Ricardo León Sánchez Arenas of the Faculty of Business Sciences, was invited by the University of Sonora – UNISON and by the Technological Institute of Sonora – ITSON to an international internship in Mexico for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and collaborative work in research. The objective of this academic work is to address research topics, to serve as a visiting professor at the master’s and undergraduate level. This new achievement in internationalization for María Cano and for the attached programs of the Faculty of Business Sciences, is achieved based on the Framework Agreement with ITSON, as well as on the project «Characterization of Technological Capabilities for competitiveness in the metalworking industry: the case of the State of Sonora, Mexico”, together with members of the ITSON research group and the SUMAR research group of the Institution.
Professor Ricardo Sánchez, is also participating in the organizing team and as a speaker at the international seminar on quantitative research that is aimed at ITSON and UNISON professors, undergraduate and Master’s students, as well as a participant in the synod at the level of master’s degree as an evaluating jury where a student directed by Professor Sánchez, who is part of the Sumar Research Group, will defend her thesis.
On the other hand, with the internship, relationship spaces will be opened with other Mexican HEIs and the double degree process that is currently being processed for the María Cano Business Administration and Public Accounting programs will be favored. They are two weeks of exchange of knowledge and experiences that will impact internationalization and research in the Faculty of Business Sciences.
