REDALYC: the new indexer of the Journal of Research and Innovation in Health Sciences
- 5 mayo, 2022

The Editorial Quality Department of the Redalyc Scientific Information System notified the editorial team of the Journal of Research and Innovation in Health Sciences that the publication met all the quality standards to be indexed: “Receive our most sincere congratulations to an undoubted success: the Journal of Research and Innovation in Health Sciences has satisfactorily met the Redalyc criteria by going through the different phases of the evaluation process: internal qualification, ratification by the management, and qualitative assessment by the Journal Evaluation Council”.
Redalyc – Network of Scientific Journals of Latin America and the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal – is an indexing system that integrates high-quality scientific and editorial journals from the region into its index. Exclusively integrates journals that share the non-profit publication model to preserve the academic and open nature of scientific communication.
Added to this achievement is the recent entry of RIICS into Dialnet, a portal for the dissemination of scientific production from Spain, Portugal and Latin America, whose objective is to give greater visibility to Hispanic scientific literature and integrate the greatest number of resources, betting on the open access to scientific literature.
The Journal of Research and Innovation in Health Sciences (RIICS) is an Ibero-American peer-reviewed scientific journal of the Health Professions, in open access and Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license. Its purpose is to be a disciplinary communication channel for original and unpublished research and review articles derived from research projects and processes that provide evidence to respond to gaps, needs and current problems. Currently its indexers are: Doaj, Redaly, Dialnet, Dimensions, AmeLICA, AURA, BASE, LivRE, Google Scholar, REDIB, Ulrichsweb, Dardo, among other information and summary systems.
