The María Cano University Foundation, Neiva headquarters, participated in the XVIII Departmental Meeting of Seedbeds «Knowledge networks for the development of CTeI», an event that allows the strengthening of the formative research of the research seedbeds, made up of teachers and students of physiotherapy programs and speech therapy and which took place at the SENA Industrial facilities. The event organized by the Redcolsi Node Huila and the Knowledge Managers Program, brought together children, youth and adults from more than 14 educational institutions of basic primary, high school and higher education.

María Cano participated with seed workers with the presentation of six research projects in the modalities of presentation, poster and innovation projects; The professors of the academic programs were also present, as evaluators from different areas. These activities strengthen the research group of the headquarters, positively impacting the training of students and professors of the programs that are part of the academic offer of the Institution in the capital of Huila.

The XVIII Departmental Meeting of Research Seedbeds Redcolsi Node Huila, has as its general objective: to promote formative research through the interaction of research seedbeds and their networking, for the strengthening of scientific skills, from the socialization of experiences of research developed by children and young people from basic, middle and higher education in the department of Huila who are linked to the research hotbeds.

The specific objectives:

• Promote formative research in the institutions linked to the Huila Node, through networking, to build transformation scenarios and solutions to local and regional problems.
• Strengthen the interaction of the Research Seedbeds in areas of common interest, through the socialization of research, innovation and entrepreneurship experiences.
• Promote research activities that are generated from research hotbeds and their actions in science, technology and innovation, towards appropriation and socialization, in favor of a culture of knowledge.
• Identify the main investigative experiences of the research hotbeds of the region to project them in national and international events that are endorsed by the Colombian Network of Research Hotbeds.
