Academic visit Cemprende Colombia – Innpulsa

Twenty-eight students of the subject «Professional Affairs» of the María Cano Speech Therapy program at the Medellín campus, accompanied by the guidance teacher, participated in the academic visit to the facilities of Cemprende Colombia – Innpulsa as part of the implementation of experiential pedagogical strategies associated with the curriculum, allowing attendees to become aware of creative processes for the identification of possible business opportunities and their development in the community, recognizing innovation practices in the territory, their importance and impact on it.
Cemprende Colombia – Innpulsa es, an initiative of the national government that facilitates the connection between academia, private companies, the State and society to strengthen, stimulate and generate spaces for collaboration in the country’s entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem https:// innpulsacolombia.com/ reason why the María Cano University Foundation, through its Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, leads these connections as part of its actions that stand out in its vision with the purpose of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship as elements that must be strengthened among the entire university community, which results in an invitation to acquire and consolidate skills that allow effective performance in the different professional fields.
The visit was developed in a single day at the following times: Theoretical class session by Professor Alexandra Flórez Londoño and CEmprende Talk by Nicolás Rodríguez Aristizábal Professional Region – Vice Presidency of Connection and Experiences.
The attendees were able to work from shared experience and an entrepreneurial ecosystem, key elements of innovation and creation of business ideas, finding there multiple opportunities for creation, growth and expansion of possible projects developed by students who are about to graduate. In addition, knowing professional development alternatives other than employability, breaking paradigms and fears about creating a company in Colombia and making visible the different lines of support provided by Cemprende Colombia – Innpulsa, in the same way the experience allowed students to conclude that The knowledge acquired during the academic training in the subject must go beyond the theoretical content taught in the classroom to the practical and experiential learning scenarios that allow the actions of ideation or business modeling to be carried out.
