In a meeting held between members of the Universidad del Rosario and the María Cano University Foundation, joint cooperation actions were planned to benefit the actions of the Faculty of Health Sciences. These activities seek to impact the interaction of the programs with the national and international environment through strategies that include summer schools, mirror classes, joint research by professors, and academic missions. The relationship between the Higher Education Institutions will be consolidated through the signing of a framework agreement and a specific mobility agreement.

The Universidad del Rosario is one of the most recognized Higher Education institutions in the country; It was founded in 1653 by the Archbishop of Santa Fe, Fray Cristóbal de Torres y Motones, with a license from King Felipe IV, to teach Theology, Jurisprudence and Medicine, with basic training in Philosophy. The life of this institution has been inseparable from that of Colombia, one and the other have fed and developed together.
