Mirror classes that allow national interaction

The María Cano University Foundation at the Neiva headquarters, within the framework of visibility and internationalization strategies, held a first mirror class with the Santiago de Cali University in its Physiotherapy program, where the work of professor Diana Sánchez and the second semester students of the program that is leader in the department of Huila. In the academic activity of projection, they participated in the class called «Embryology of the Nervous System», allowing students and professors from the two higher education institutions to share knowledge and clear up doubts about this important topic for professional practice; a practice that allows work to be positioned within the classroom, with ICT support, so that students transcend the frontiers of professional training.
The purpose of the internationalization policy is to facilitate the interrelation with other academic programs, other educational institutions and, of course, other regions at the national and international level, to diversify the dynamics of the classes and integrate knowledge of the world into the curriculum. Mirror classes are a didactic tool, highly recognized in the educational environment, which allows teaching, learning and interaction of students and teachers, facilitating the exchange of experiences, knowledge and skills of different cultures. In this type of work, open participation, dialogue, talks, debate between national and international peers, who are part of academic and scientific networks, are encouraged, which represents greater access to knowledge by the educational community.
The María Cano University Foundation is holding talks with the Santiago de Cali University to allow greater interaction between the members of the university community, for the second semester of the current year.
