Graduates in Popayán that fill us with pride

The Second Call for Young Researchers and Innovators of the department of Cauca was closed, within the framework of the project «Implementation of the Project of Young Researchers and Innovators in the department of Cauca», which seeks to promote the scientific vocation in people with academic excellence in this important department in the southwestern part of the country. This work is focused on developing their skills and abilities as researchers, applying the «learn-by-doing» methodology. The young people were nominated by the entities of the National System of Science, Technology and Innovation (SNCTI) formulators of the project, among which is the María Cano University Foundation, Popayán.
In this second call, five projects were submitted through the Physioter Research Group: Importance of movement in human development, designed by graduates of the Physiotherapy program: Anggie Valentina Sarria Gómez, Fernando José Gómez Rodríguez, Gina Valentina Hoyos Palechor, Daniela Claros Vargas and Cristian David Narváez Montero, together with the research professors: María Fernanda Ortiz Cabrera, Angélica María Zuluaga Calle and Elizabeth Roldán González.
The María Cano University Foundation ratifies the importance of investigative work for the service of society and congratulates all the graduates of the Physiotherapy program who bet on research and innovation for the development of their projects, which point to the solution of problems identified in the strategic health focus and in the departmental challenge: to provide equity for territorial peace.
