Senior management in higher education in Latin America

The Academic Vice Chancellor of the María Cano University Foundation, Jorge Albeiro Herrera Builes, participates in the Higher Education Senior Management Program being carried out by the Latin American Council of Management Schools CLADEA, on September 14 and 15 at the University of Miami – USA. The training is aimed at favoring a strategic vision in the management of higher education institutions, in order to enhance the capabilities of the management team and the skills in senior management positions in Business Schools in Latin America.
This academic experience is aimed at current and future Rectors, Vice-Rectors, Deans, Directors, Department Heads, Coordinators, or candidates for Senior Management positions at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels throughout the continent and has the participation of leaders from the United States, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Spain and Peru. The work will be reflected in the implementation of the comprehensive action plan for María Cano in the short, medium and long term.
The Latin American Council of Management Schools – CLADEA is an international network that brings together higher education institutions and organizations dedicated to teaching and research in the field of management. It has four strategic pillars: Support in academic and administrative management, Generate spaces for knowledge exchange, Promote and disseminate theoretical and applied research, and Promote mobility agreements. Currently, CLADEA has 239 affiliated institutions, belonging to 27 countries in America, Europe, Africa and Oceania, both private and public.
