At María Cano we care about providing the community of graduates of the different undergraduate and postgraduate academic programs, more and better opportunities to strengthen their actions in the labor market; This is how different actions have been led to meet this important institutional goal. The conference «Human Talent: current challenges» was held, an event scheduled by the Professional Link Network, in which an important group of María Cano graduates participated. The academic meeting was the protagonist when receiving the two guest speakers from Grupo Éxito: Juan Felipe Montoya Calle, Vice President of Human Resources; and Robinson Valderrama, Director of Organization and Human Resources Solutions. There were many topics covered in the talk, which allow strengthening the knowledge of the graduates, while encouraging the creation of a company and the development of ideas to contribute to the innovation and development of the country.

The day of approach to working life was also carried out in the different branches of María Cano, an activity that generates harmony between the employment recruiting companies and the linking institutions, with the graduates and students of the Institution. The family compensation funds of each of the departments where María Cano is present, as well as the Sena and the Emtelco and Goldtalent companies, were in charge of assisting the members of the university community to update the resumes and apply directly to some job offers. Institutional Welfare and the Alumni Office led this collaborative work that ratifies the institutional commitment to the members of the #MásMaríaCano family throughout life.
