At the María Cano University Foundation we are also proud and congratulate the students of the Physiotherapy program at the Medellín campus, who, on behalf of the Neurorehabilitation and Social Inclusion Seedbed, presented their research papers on Saturday, September 24 at the academic event: III Regional Meeting of Seedbeds for Research in Physiotherapy, promoted by the Colombian Association of Physiotherapy Students – ACEFIT, sponsored by the CES University and the María Cano University Foundation. It should be noted that the participation of Yudy Edith Ceballos, Paola Andrea Zapata, Juan Camilo Yepes and Daniela González were positively valued.

The paper «Physiotherapy approaches with the use of the Nintendo Wii in the rehabilitation of the upper limb in children and adolescents with cerebral palsy: a systematic review» under the modality of research assistant in the project «Proposal protocol for the use of virtual reality in children with cerebral palsy and its applications in health» by Daniela González was awarded first place at the event; likewise, the presentation «Corporeity in people with congenital and acquired disabilities: a phenomenological approach» by Juan Camilo Yepes was awarded third place at the event.

The María Cano University Foundation, with its university community: students, professors and researchers, evidences in all its actions the commitment to the well-being of the community and the continuous application of the knowledge acquired in the classrooms and in the work carried out, to achieve better living conditions for all.
