Public Accounting with international projection

Between October 24 and 25, 2022, the María Cano University Foundation leads the II International Symposium on Accounting, Organizations and Society, in alliance with the Technological University of Sonora – ITSON of Mexico. Dean Marco Antonio Ruiz Correa and program director Elkin Antonio Restrepo Escobar were in charge of opening the academic activity from Colombia and, in connection from Mexico, were doctors Yazbet Mendivil and Mauricio López, with avant-garde topics and total importance for the performance of the public accountant of the 21st century.
The national and international speakers are responsible for enriching this Symposium, with topics ranging from the ethics of the public accountant to the technological tools that teachers should use in the transfer of knowledge on Accounting issues. Among the conferences, topics such as:
- From individual to collective responsibility, questioning ethical training in Public Accounting.
- Accounting education: social and organizational relations from a teaching perspective.
- Tools for innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Conversation about entrepreneurship experiences.
The María Cano University Foundation advances in its constant commitment to bring new training and complementary proposals in the academic training process, of the different undergraduate and postgraduate programs, to guarantee the updating of knowledge, the development of skills for the service of society and the transformation of the different work strategies that allow the profession to be consolidated as one of the most strategic for the growth and development of society.
