Participation of Mariacanovirtual in International Congress

On October 27 and 28, the First Congress «Educational Technology and Digital Environments: learning, experiences and challenges in the construction of educational scenarios» was held, led by the Champagnat University of Argentina, the ISAE University of Panama and the Rafael Núñez University Corporation of Colombia. . The nomination of papers was focused on 4 thematic axes: Teaching practices in digital environments, Proposals and implementation model of distance education, Digital materials and learning objects and Development and innovation in educational technology. In this version, the María Cano University Foundation was represented by the head of virtuality, Claudia Patricia Vásquez Lopera, who participated with the presentation of two papers:
The first presentation was entitled: «Virtual classrooms as spaces for pedagogical and technological mediation of face-to-face courses», corresponding to the thematic axis of Teaching practices in digital environments. Specifically, this paper presented the implementation of the support classroom project on the Mariacanovirtual campus for face-to-face courses, which originated in 2018 as an optional strategy for teachers and in 2020 as an institutional strategy regulated in Resolution 860 of 2020.
The other presentation was «Didactic elements in the design of interactive learning objects with Scorm» corresponding to the thematic axis of digital materials and learning objects. This presentation focused on the OVAs that are currently implemented for undergraduate and postgraduate virtual subjects, showing the instructional design process and the didactic elements that characterize them, in addition to the interactive elements that allow a better design of this type of educational resources. digital. Through the Scorm implemented in the OVA of the institution, the monitoring that the student can carry out of the progress in the study of the learning book or OVA and the reports that the teacher can have was shown; these elements are represented with a progress bar, gems and reports in Mariacanovirtual.
