The rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, accompanied by the national work team and academic directors, opened the visit of the academic peers of the Ministry of National Education for the renewal of the Qualified Registry for Business Administration programs (virtual modality) and Software Engineering (face-to-face in Medellín). The Institution receives for the Administration program the following gentlemen: Luis Alfredo Peña, who is a Master in Project Management, Project Specialist, Project Advisor under PMI for the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, peer of the Ministry of National Education and university professor ; Carlos Alberto Moreno who is a Doctor in Agricultural Sciences, Master in Administration, Specialist in Business Management, Business Administrator, Research Professor at the University of Applied and Environmental Sciences and professor at the Pontifical Javeriana University.

Likewise, for the Software Engineering program, the gentlemen will be: Leonardo Javier Nivia, who is a Systems Engineer with an emphasis on Software, Specialist in Teleinformatics, with a Master’s Degree in Strategic Management, is a professor at the University of Tolima; Freddy León Reyes, who is a Systems Engineer with an emphasis on Software, with a Master’s Degree in Education, Specialist in University Teaching and is a professor at the Nueva Granada Military University.

For two days, the work agendas will be focused on topics such as: institutional presentation, justification of academic programs, relevance, opportunity, curricular aspects, organization of academic activities, relationship with the external sector, faculty, educational resources, physical infrastructure, virtual campus support, research, innovation, entrepreneurship, artistic creation, financial feasibility, relationship with graduates, accompaniment to students, businessmen and teachers and technological infrastructure.
