Exaltation to entrepreneurship at Cali headquarters

At the María Cano University Foundation, Cali headquarters, progress is made in entrepreneurship and innovation projects, it is for this reason that the student Valentina Díaz Escobar developed her business idea, within the framework of the Café Emprende program, with the accompaniment and advice of her mentors, by participating in the work led by the Mayor’s Office of the capital of Valle del Cauca, called: «Talent an opportunity», in which he achieved the recognition and economic benefit granted by this program for the execution of the proposal to be undertaken.
The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Unit of María Cano carries out biweekly efforts to identify the business ideas of the students, with support actions, advice and the realization of an optimal and timely accompaniment that guarantees the viability of the proposal to be undertaken, consolidating ideas innovative business, with great economic and social impact. This space is of great support to the proposals to support future entrepreneurs who will contribute to the strengthening of the local, regional and national economy.
Professors Nelson Andrés Andrade Bonilla and Leidy Tatiana Ordoñez Mora are responsible for and managers of this entrepreneurship and innovation space that seeks to have an economic and social impact in the capital of Valle del Cauca, where Café Emprende allows and facilitates students, With their business ideas, they receive advice and permanent support, guaranteeing the viability of the project and that they can apply for different funding calls, which make viability and development possible for the well-being of the nearby community and society in general.
The Cali Mayor’s Office highlights on its website that: «With a bag of more than 600 million pesos, the Cali Mayor’s Office will support 300 young men and women, between the ages of 14 and 28, regardless of their socioeconomic status. or cultural partner to participate in the Talent an Opportunity project to potentiate their entrepreneurship and innovation possibilities and consolidate them as a differential projector in the city».
