Vanessa Jovel Vanegas graduated from the Physiotherapy program of the María Cano University Foundation, Cali headquarters, in 2010 and was linked to the Police in 2011, where she later became an officer, in the rank of second lieutenant of this force. earning a degree as a Police Service Specialist. During his training period at that Institution and the time he worked as a CAI commander in the city of Ibagué, he stood out for his support to the community from the field of health, while developing health promotion activities, which contribute to the welfare of the community.
The graduate also participated in the Inter-School Sports Games, of the military and police schools, where her outstanding work as a physiotherapist led her to be summoned to the Military Sports Federation, which includes all athletes from the different disciplines of the armed forces. of Colombia: police, navy, army and air force. In her performance as head physiotherapist of this federation and in her work in it, she obtained excellent results that led her to work, directly and articulately, with Coldeportes, now the Ministry of Sport, where she developed activities with the interdisciplinary teams of the high-performance athletes in the country.
His excellent training in the Physiotherapy undergraduate program at the María Cano University Foundation allowed him to respond to the challenges and demands of the attention of athletes, both nationally and internationally, in multiple sporting events, obtaining different recognitions from the Armed Forces.
