The María Cano University Foundation at the Neiva headquarters actively participates in the work tables with the universities of the department of Huila seeking the well-being of the entire community of this region and the country. Coordinated and collaborative work is one of the main functions of these tables, which are integrated into four lines of action: social projection, teaching and internationalization, research and institutional well-being. These work days allow, through the interaction between Higher Education Institutions, to identify their strengths, for the development of impact projects that contribute to the well-being of the academic community and the development of the department of Huila.

The Neiva de la María Cano headquarters, is the leader of the institutional well-being table, which presented the report on the management carried out during the year 2022 and established the work plan that they will develop in an articulated manner during the year 2023 from their health areas , sports, culture, and human development, which will be presented to the board of directors for approval. Young people from higher education institutions benefit from collaborative work and the development of actions that contribute to their academic and personal training, with a view to generating new experiences that contribute to their growth.

Representatives of the Cooperative University of Colombia, the National Unified Corporation of Higher Education, the Antonio Nariño University, the National Open and Distance University, the Neiva Technological School Foundation – FET participate in the work of the work tables of the universities of the department of Huila. «Jesús Oviedo Pérez», the Minuto de Dios University Corporation, the Huila University Corporation and the Surcolombiana University.
