As part of the academic responsibility, internships are encouraged as a permanent pillar whose objective is the development of professional skills. Forging the best methods for the different scenarios, in which a professional in the physiotherapy area is involved. At the María Cano University Foundation, the disciplinary reflection circle of the first semester of 2023 was held, aimed at students of the physiotherapy program who are in different scenarios: practice 1 – community, practice 2 – sports and work and practice 3 – clinical. In this reflection activity, topics were addressed and knowledge was shared with the participation of professional speakers in the areas of psychology and physiotherapy, with successful journeys throughout their professional careers.

• Nadya María Sierra Noreña: Psychologist, human development coordinator at the María Cano University Foundation, addressed the topic «Mental health in the life project.»
• Héctor Jiménez: Physiotherapist from the Universidad del Valle, Specialist in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation from the Universidad del Rosario and Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Universidad del Valle, addressed the topic «Management of the patient with cystic fibrosis».
• Carlos Alberto Moya Santana: Psychologist, addressed the topic: «The best ally of sport.»

These spaces seek to strengthen knowledge, so that they become significant experiences for the entire María Cano community, generating positive impacts for academic training, the community, building and training the development of new generations.
