It is a source of great emotion for the María Cano University Foundation, at its Cali headquarters, to welcome an exciting educational project that allows broadening the horizons of education in Valle del Cauca, called: «Everyone to study English», promoted by the Secretary of Education of Cali. This high-quality new work represents a significant step in our commitment to transform lives through education. With the firm purpose of enriching the opportunities of more than 2,000 young residents of the city of Cali, the Institution has assumed the mission of providing training in English. At María Cano, 117 of these young people will be educated, as a means to promote positive change in the community, contributing to the personal and professional development of the new generations in the country.

The María Cano Language Center plays a fundamental role in the implementation of this project. As a first step, it has assumed the responsibility of carrying out the English qualifying tests in this area of ​​the country, which will make it possible to identify the level of language skills of the participants and adapt the training effectively to meet their individual needs. Additionally, these young people from Cali will be able to enjoy the comfortable facilities in that city: gym, computer equipment with internet access and didactic material in the library. At the same time, they will be able to access the «I love you at the U» program that provides comprehensive support from human development and psycho-orientation, promoting good living and academic permanence.

The excitement continues because these students, beneficiaries of the scholarships awarded by the Ministry of Education, have the wonderful opportunity to access the bilingual training offered at the Institution that has 36 years of service to the community. Everything that is happening is a testament to the dedication to education and social transformation. With each step taken in this exciting project, the commitment to provide meaningful learning opportunities that transcend barriers and enrich the lives of Cali’s youth is cemented.
