On Thursday, August 24, the meeting between the María Cano University Foundation and the Secretary of Education of the capital of Antioquia was held, in which the Institution operates the project «Germina la Semilla Bilingüe» that provides comprehensive support to the Bilingualism Network, the English language training and teaching methodology for more than 700 teachers in the District of Medellín. Since the month of March, the development of training began, which has involved impact spaces in public educational institutions, participation in bilingualism forums, training for city trainers, conversation clubs for all project participants, generating an impact directly in the students who are attended by the teachers, trained by the program, in their different academic activities so that the seed of a new language germinates.

In the first five months of this academic space, the participants have evaluated the actions and execution of the Language Center of the María Cano University Foundation, with a category called «Excellent», which confirms the commitment, quality, excellence, the qualification and relevance of the work team and the methodology implemented. It is important to highlight that all levels of education: elementary school, preschool, secondary and secondary education, have benefited from the project of the Medellín Ministry of Education, which has found a strategic ally in María Cano to provide language training. foreigner, English and its intercultural approach, to the teachers who accompany the preparation of the new generations who contribute to the growth and development of the District of Medellín and the region in general.
