A great and emotional moment was experienced by the #MásMaríaCano families in the capital of Cauca with the graduation ceremony that took place on Thursday, August 24 at the Guillermo Valencia Municipal Theater, when fifty-one physiotherapists and thirteen public health specialists received their professional title and postgraduate of the rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras. For the Institution, this is a solemn moment in which families are thanked for the trust placed in the academic training of their children, while ratifying the commitment to self-assessment, accreditation, academic excellence and administration, sustainability, support for new professionals and positioning through different actions of social projection that benefit different sectors of society.

During his speech, the rector of María Cano invited all the new professionals to put their knowledge at the service of the community, without ceasing to be excellent citizens so that an important relationship is generated between the professional and the human. In this way, the María Cano University Foundation advances in the fulfillment of its main purpose of delivering to Colombia and the different areas in which it is present, the best graduates so that they can contribute to the growth and development of the country.

Likewise, the institutional advances of the last years of the quality route, the accreditation of programs at the national level and the expansion of the academic offer in undergraduate and postgraduate at the national level were highlighted.
