The project was led by the Psychology program of the María Cano University Foundation, attached to the Faculty of Health Sciences, which will positively impact the mental health of Buen Comienzo educational agents, as well as that of boys and girls. that are linked to the program.
One of the most important conclusions found, after the study, is that psychosocial risk factors are permanently present in the working population, and that they can affect the physical and mental health of people, therefore, it is It is necessary to maintain identification, monitoring and intervention measures in accordance with the specific needs of the population.
In this way, it is evident how the articulated work of the María Cano University Foundation with the different actors of the public sector, in the case of the Buen Comienzo Program, which has been in force since 2004, contributes significantly to improving the conditions of well-being of the boys and girls of Colombia, and of the workers committed to their care and protection.
