Medellín, Cali and Popayán were the cities in which María Cano is present and that this Friday, June 7, new professionals and specialists from the María Cano University Foundation were delivered to the community. The academic programs from which new graduates were presented are: Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Business Administration, Public Accounting, Specialization in Occupational Health Management, Specialization in Safety and Health at Work, as well as the Specialization in Senior Management. In the ceremonies, the principles that are now embodied by professionals who stand out for their respect, equity, excellence, leadership, transparency and responsibility were exalted.

The directors of María Cano also recognized the importance of the image of María de los Ángeles Cano Márquez as a social and political leader of Colombia, who toured the country in the early years of the 20th century in search of well-being, education and equity. for all social classes in the different regions; as well as in the peaceful and respectful fight for equality and the inclusion of women in different scenarios.

In the words of the rector (e) Luis Horacio Escobar Correa highlighted that, in the last year, María Cano has made significant progress in terms of high-quality accreditation of 6 programs in the country, the expansion of the academic offer with new undergraduate degrees, postgraduate courses and education for work and human development. Also the route that has been initiated for Institutional Accreditation, the expansion of physical infrastructure and quality certifications before Icontec. Thus, as well as the social projection in which the different undergraduate and graduate academic programs are engaged throughout the country.
