Throughout the workshop, students received detailed and relevant information about the various funding opportunities offered by the «Fondo Emprender,» a SENA program that supports the creation and consolidation of businesses. Key topics covered included the requirements for accessing these funds, the application processes, and the essential factors for successfully formulating projects. Practical tools were also provided to help identify viable business ideas and effectively structure them to maximize the chances of securing the necessary financial support.
This activity reflects the Fundación Universitaria María Cano’s strong commitment to the comprehensive education of its students. The institution aims not only to train future professionals in technical and scientific areas but also to equip them with the necessary skills to be responsible, creative, and visionary entrepreneurs capable of generating innovative projects that meet market demands and contribute to the region’s economic and social development.
Additionally, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit continues to design and implement activities that strengthen the entrepreneurial skills of students from all academic programs.
