- 14 agosto, 2025

The María Cano University Foundation welcomes the official visit of the academic peer appointed by the Ministry of National Education, Dr. Javier López Martínez, as part of the quality conditions verification process for obtaining the qualified registration of the new postgraduate program: the Specialization in the Creation of Digital Educational Resources, offered in a virtual modality.
The visit, which will continue until tomorrow, aims to rigorously examine the academic, administrative, technological, and pedagogical aspects that support the proposal of this program, in order to ensure it meets the standards established by the Ministry for its approval and implementation.
During his stay, the academic peer will hold meetings with university administrators, faculty, and technical teams, and will also review key documentation that demonstrates María Cano’s capacity to offer a high-quality postgraduate program in a virtual format, focused on the creation and management of digital educational content—an area experiencing growth and high demand in the current context of digital transformation.
The Specialization in the Creation of Digital Educational Resources aims to train professionals capable of designing, implementing, and evaluating materials and virtual learning environments, integrating emerging technologies and innovative pedagogical strategies. This represents a commitment to strengthening virtual education in the country.
With this initiative, the María Cano University Foundation reaffirms its commitment to academic innovation and the expansion of its postgraduate educational offerings, adapting to the new dynamics of training in digital environments. The Ministry’s final decision will be announced in the coming months, once the evaluation process is complete.
