Successful First Session of the Financial Bootcamp Boosts Financial Education for Students and Entrepreneurs
With active participation and an atmosphere full of learning, the first session of the Financial Bootcamp took place—an educational space designed to strengthen accounting and financial management skills among local students and entrepreneurs.
The session was led by Professor Sebastián Salazar, who, through a practical, dynamic, and approachable methodology, guided participants through key topics such as cost analysis, budget structuring, and financial decision-making applied directly to their business ideas.
Throughout the session, participants had the opportunity to address real questions related to their own projects, allowing them to make significant progress in the financial planning of their ventures. This direct connection between theory and practice not only enriched the learning experience but also demonstrated the real impact that strong financial education can have on the development of sustainable initiatives.
“Understanding finance is not a luxury—it’s a necessity. When entrepreneurs manage their resources well, their ideas have a much greater chance of growing and becoming sustainable,” said Professor Salazar during his talk.
This first session marks the beginning of a continuous learning process that seeks to connect knowledge with action, fostering a culture of planning, analysis, and financial sustainability from the early stages of entrepreneurial projects.
We thank all participants for their commitment and energy, and we look forward to seeing you again on September 10 as we continue this journey of growth and empowerment through financial knowledge.
