Fundación Universitaria María Cano and the Cauca Department Education Secretariat strengthen alliances for the comprehensive care of children and youth

The Popayán campus of Fundación Universitaria María Cano is advancing in collaborative working sessions with the Education Secretariat of the Cauca department, led by Maestra Sor Inés Larrahondo Carabalí and her team, with the objective of consolidating interinstitutional alliances that contribute to the design and implementation of programs aimed at the comprehensive care of children and youth at their various educational levels.

This joint effort seeks to promote an education that not only addresses academic needs but also fosters peacebuilding from the classroom, ensuring holistic development that positively impacts the educational community and the region.

The working sessions will allow for the definition of clear pathways for academic intervention, research, and social outreach, thus strengthening the role of academia in regional development and generating sustainable solutions to the educational challenges faced by the department.
