- 26 enero, 2026
The Fundación Universitaria María Cano continues to consolidate its institutional growth with the opening of new graduate program cohorts within the Faculty of Health Sciences, reaffirming its commitment to training highly qualified professionals capable of responding to the needs of Colombia’s health sector. This academic expansion represents a strategic commitment to strengthening knowledge, management, and community well-being.
In this context, two new cohorts have been launched for the Specialization in Health Services Management and the Specialization in Occupational Health and Safety Management, programs aimed at preparing professionals to lead key processes in public and private organizations. These new groups reflect the growing demand for specialized training and the confidence placed in the Institution’s academic excellence.
The Specialization in Health Services Management seeks to train specialists who promote actions aimed at ensuring the rational use of economic, human, technological, and financial resources to deliver high-quality health services. This program encourages superior organizational performance that responds to the expectations of the State and society, while addressing the uncertainty inherent in a dynamic and constantly changing political environment such as that of Colombia.
Likewise, the Specialization in Occupational Health and Safety Management aims to educate professionals who are leaders in technical and managerial processes within the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. This training contributes to improving the quality of life of the working population and, consequently, organizational productivity, strengthening competitiveness at regional, national, and global levels.

Additionally, the Fundación Universitaria María Cano celebrates the opening of the first cohort of the Master’s Degree in Physical Activity for Health, a program designed to train professional leaders capable of designing and implementing innovative strategies to promote health, prevent disease, and improve quality of life for individuals and communities. With a comprehensive approach, this master’s program deepens the use of physical activity as a tool for well-being, combining theoretical and practical knowledge in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs in physical activity, recreation, and the use of leisure time. Through these initiatives, María Cano consolidates its graduate academic offering and reaffirms its contribution to the growth, development, and transformation of the country through higher education.
