The university swimming team of Fundación Universitaria María Cano once again gives us great reasons to celebrate, thanks to the outstanding performance of our athletes at the ASCUN DAF Nodo Antioquia Regional University Games, where they proudly represented the institution and secured qualification for the upcoming National University Games, to be held in Medellín during the second semester of the year.

With an exceptional performance, Ana Sofía Posada Cano shined in the competition by winning silver medal in the 200-meter backstroke y bronze medal in the 200-meter individual medley.

Her results reflect discipline, talent, and high-level athletic preparation, positioning her as one of the standout athletes of this regional competition.

We also recognize the commitment and dedication of Ana María Correa Vanegas, who competed at a high level and ranked among the top 10 participants in each of her events, demonstrating consistency, preparation, and an admirable competitive spirit.

These achievements not only highlight the talent of our athletes, but also reaffirm María Cano’s commitment to university sports and comprehensive education, where discipline, passion, and excellence are reflected in every competitive setting.
