With immense pride, we celebrate the outstanding achievement of María José Duque Castaño, a student in the Physiotherapy program at the Medellín campus and a member of the Colombian National Karate Do Team, who proudly represented our country and our institution at the 2026 Pan American Karate Do Championship, held in Macaé (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) from May 25 to June 2.
At this important competition, which brought together the best karate athletes from across the continent, María José showcased her talent, discipline, strength, and athletic commitment, earning the bronze medal and securing third place at the continental level.

This achievement represents not only a personal triumph but also a source of pride for our entire institutional community, as her outstanding performance earned her qualification for the World Team Championship in China.
We congratulate María José on this inspiring achievement, which fills us with pride and reminds us that, with passion, perseverance, and discipline, dreams can become remarkable accomplishments.

We continue celebrating the talent of our students who shine both within and beyond our borders!
