Fundación Universitaria María Cano, the University Institution of Popular Cultures and Arts (IUIPC), and the Humanitarian Network of Colombia continue joining efforts to support families in the areas most affected by the earthquake that struck on August 10, reaffirming their commitment to well-being, emotional recovery, and the strengthening of community ties.

As part of this collaborative work, a new community outreach initiative was carried out, bringing together children, youth, and adults in recreational activities, integration spaces, and sessions focused on mental health and emotional well-being. The initiative provided opportunities for connection, active listening, and support—essential elements in addressing the emotional impact of such emergencies.

Throughout the event, professionals and volunteers offered psychological guidance and emotional support to families, promoting strategies for coping with emotions, strengthening resilience, and rebuilding collective confidence.
