María Cano and UABC: A Partnership Without Borders
- 21 octubre, 2026
The María Cano University Foundation is strengthening its international cooperation with the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) in Mexico through teaching and research initiatives that promote knowledge exchange, academic mobility, and the joint development of scientific outputs, with the participation of faculty members and students from the Physiotherapy program.
As part of this partnership, an interinstitutional agreement has been formalized to promote a dual-degree pathway for the Master’s Degree in Physical Activity for Health, creating opportunities for advanced education and professional development in an international academic environment.

Both institutions are also working toward potential dual-degree opportunities for the Physiotherapy program, aiming to promote curriculum internationalization, encourage student and faculty mobility, and strengthen the development of global and intercultural competencies.
This cooperation creates new opportunities for shared academic experiences, stronger research capabilities, and enriched educational processes. Through these efforts, María Cano continues to build strategic partnerships that contribute to academic quality, internationalization, and knowledge creation beyond national borders.
