In three different ceremonies held at the Plaza Mayor Convention Center in the capital of Antioquia, The Maria Cano University Foundation presented the society with 255 new professionals and specialists of Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Public Accounting and the specializations in Audiology, Senior Management and Occupational Health Management. Qualified professionals who are part of the history of the institution throughout thirty-three years of life and commitment to the country, sharing higher education with quality and relevance, according to the ideals of the great social leader Maria de los Angeles Cano Marquez.

The Rector, Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, Academic Vice-Rector, Jorge Albeiro Herrera Builes, Vice-Rector of Extension and Social Outreach, Carlos Julio Escobar Noreña, Administrative Vice-Rector, Oscar Alberto Gaviria Palacio, and Deans, Amilbia Palacios Cordoba, Marco Antonio Ruiz Correa and Raul Gilberto Salazar Saldarriaga were present at the ceremony in which the importance of graduates in bringing knowledge and services to the Colombian population through their professions was exalted.

Throughout its three decades of existence in Medellin, Cali, Neiva and Popayan, The Maria Cano has given the country more than 16 thousand graduates who are the faithful representation of respect, equity, excellence, leadership, transparency and responsibility.
