The facebook lives «El amor en los tiempos de cuarentena» (Love in times of quarantine), that Amarte will be showing on all Fridays in May, were born after the presentation in the show of Teleantioquia: «Salud para el Alma» in representation of The Maria Cano, as a strategy of impact to face the increasing phenomenon of mistreatment and aggression between couples and families, effect of the obligatory confinement by the quarantine and the indexes of stress produced by this.

On Friday, May 1st, the first of these events was held with the virtual company of more than 120 people among students of the Institution, their families, friends and the general public. The counseling and accompaniment work was also carried out with the company of The Maria Cano graduates who are now in other parts of the world. Its recording has allowed more than 500 people to visualize it during the first weekend.

Professor Jorge Albeiro Jimenez Hernandez, leader of Amartes, hopes to contribute significantly with his work in containing the phenomenon of intra-family aggression and even saving people’s lives, which is the priority of all his work.
