The professor of the Psychology program of María Cano, Adriana Restrepo Arismendy, participated in the program En Apuros of the local television channel of the Antioquia capital, Telemedellín, where she addressed an important topic for the well-being of the community: Domestic violence, a problem social that has increased during the year 2020 because of the obligatory social confinement in which the world is at the moment.

Intra-family violence is not only physical, as the majority of the population believes, it occurs in the psychological, economic and sexual aspects, where the people who are at the highest risk of suffering it are those who are submissive or dependent on an emotional or economic level; also people who have had family patterns in contexts of violence.

It is important to highlight that the psychologist Adriana Restrepo has worked for thirteen years for children and education, she is also a junior researcher before the Ministry of Science, Technologies and Innovation, which accredits her with important knowledge and experience in the field. Her work also allows María Cano to be involved in the processes of promoting law and caring for Colombian homes.
