Through the Interinstitutional Program for the Strengthening of Research and Postgraduate Studies in the Pacific – DELFÍN, an initiative that was born in Mexico in 1995 with the aim of strengthening the culture of collaboration between Higher Education Institutions and Research Centers that are members of the Program, through of the mobility of students, the generation of networks and the dissemination of scientific and technological products; the María Cano University Foundation joins this initiative with the support of researchers Catalina Lopera Muñetón and Sebastián Grajales Toro from the FISIOTER group, who supervised the research stay of four students: two at the national level and two at the international level of undergraduate students from Physiotherapy, Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Degree in Physical Culture and Sports.
The students were linked for seven weeks to the activities of the projects of the 4 internal call of María Cano within the framework of the XXV Summer of Scientific and Technological Research of the Pacific DELFÍN:
Project: Design of an external breast prosthesis from the analysis of functional and ergonomic problems in women mastectomized for breast cancer
