The Colombian Association of Physiotherapy Faculties – ASCOFAFI within its 2020 Action Plan carries out for the Higher Education Institutions that are part of it, the Diploma Physiotherapy in Mental Health for trainers, an activity that aims to provide an approach to understanding of this important area of mental health through the theoretical foundation and physiotherapeutic interactions typical of the training of physiotherapists at the undergraduate level that can be used autonomously by each Colombian university.

In this important training, the coordinator Diana María Salazar Rojas, the practice coordinator Yasmìn Andrea Rodríguez Laiseca and the teacher Piedad Rocío Lerma Castaño participate from the Neiva de la María Cano headquarters. This training strengthens the design of the study plans of the Physiotherapy Program and prepares the teaching community for this new challenge of the training of Physiotherapists.

The Colombian Association of Physiotherapy Faculties, ASCOFAFI, is an academic, non-profit organization, founded on August 21, 1998 and dedicated to promoting academic development and the quality of physiotherapy programs at the university level, of pre and postgraduate and all those of other levels of formal higher education grouping the Faculties, schools, careers, departments and programs of Physiotherapy without prejudice to the name conferred by the internal regime of each of the institutions.
