Celebration for public accountants

The María Cano University Foundation celebrated the Public Accountant Day for students and graduates of the program that is part of the Faculty of Business Sciences and that has face-to-face and virtual methodology; On this occasion, the activity was carried out virtually and with the involvement of Dr. Manuel Moreno M. from Peru, with the topic of «The importance of IFRS in 2021 for decision-making» and Dr. Miguel Ángel Cervantes Penagos from Mexico, with the theme of «The Cartesian method and the audit.»
More than 110 students joined the academic event, who for 3 hours shared their experiences and learned about these issues that are relevant to the professional practice of the Public Accountant. This program is strengthening the internationalization of the curriculum and for this it works through mirror classes, webinar with international professors, research and other topics relevant to the needs of the 21st century accountant.
During the celebration of the Public Accountant Day, attendees participated in the raffle of five complete software licenses provided by the accounting systems provider Helisa, software designed and developed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized companies in economic aspects oriented to the organization of accounting, in addition to having different modules to fulfill administrative functions and carry out documentation and reports of transactions.
