The Neiva Municipal Education Secretariat granted the María Cano University Foundation in that city, permission to implement the alternation model, which allows the gradual and progressive return of the community to the institution’s facilities, within the framework of the process of return with organized, continuous guidelines and with biosafety protocols to the provision of the educational service in person under the alternation scheme – Educational Alternation Plan of the Jurisdiction of Neiva, Huila.

After the two visits made to the headquarters of the María Cano, by the Secretary of Health and Education, authorization was granted for the students of the physical therapy and speech therapy programs to begin their face-to-face classes with the alternation model. The authorization and delivery of the administrative act was led by Mr. José Paul Azuero Bernal, Administrative Director of Technical and Technological Education and Secretary of Education in charge.

La María Cano is committed to rigorous biosafety protocols, coordinated with the area of ​​health and safety at work, ensuring the well-being, health and tranquility of all members of the university community.
