The interdisciplinarity between the Physiotherapy program in the city of Cali and the postgraduate programs continues; on this occasion with the prostrate in Orthodontics from the Universidad del Valle; where the teacher Catalina Jiménez Cerquera promoted the integration of the students through her talk «Physiotherapeutic approach in pre and post-surgical maxillofacial surgery» held on April 6. This meeting had a large attendance of 60 participants, both undergraduate and postgraduate in Orthodontics, where it is evident not only the great knowledge and professionalism of the María Cano faculty, but also the importance of interdisciplinary work for the benefit, care and protection of the entire community in the country, benefiting from contributions in the health area.

Professor Catalina Jiménez Cerquera is a health professional, Physiotherapist, MG. in Management for Social Innovation, with more than 8 years of experience in the health sector and more than 3 years of experience in teaching in higher education. He stands out for his knowledge in the design, formulation, management and evaluation of social innovation projects and programs and in educational settings. In addition, she is recognized for her interest and ability to lead issues of social responsibility, intrapreneurship, empathy and community work, with training in the management of the logical framework methodology and design thinking, ability to work in a team, quality and with guidance to results, also for managing groups, with a high sense of commitment and responsibility.
